  • 22 Nov 2025 Adrian Ramsay MP (@AdrianRamsay) We are already seeing the effects of climate breakdown The crucial question for COP is how we can step up our efforts to reduce global emissions so we can avoid even worse impacts of climate breakdown. Really great to talk to @ITVAnglia about the importance of COP not only internationally but also for our region. [Source]

  • 18 Nov 2025 Robbie Moore MP (@_RobbieMoore) Our peatlands store 26 times more carbon than UK forests. Building wind farms on them in the name of net-zero therefore makes net-zero sense. Unfortunately - still no sign of a clear position on this from our Labour government???? I will not support the development of the Calderdale Wind Farm. [Source]
  • 18 Nov 2025 Kemi Badenoch MP (@KemiBadenoch) The entire oil and gas industry in the North Sea is in danger of collapsing under this Government. That’s why we have said there’s an oil and gas emergency in North East Scotland. It’s time for the Government to change course… Scrap the Energy Profits Levy at the Budget next week. Scrap the crippling Carbon Tax, that cost the Fife Ethylene Plant £20m a year alone. Back oil and gas drilling including by granting new licenses. And recognise that getting our natural resources out the [Source]
  • 18 Nov 2025 Josh Fenton-Glynn MP (@JoshFG) I share with many of you concerns that the proposed Calderdale Energy Park risks having a negative impact on the climate. If the turbines and infrastructure end up degrading the carbon absorbing peat on Walshaw Moore. I raised this issue with the department of energy and net zero ministers in the house of commons today. While I support green electricity, this must be evidence based and I will not support projects that risk having a negative carbon impact. [Source]
  • 18 Nov 2025 Jeff Smith MP (@JeffSmithetc) ???? As COP30 continues, I’m sharing how climate action is being delivered nationally and here in Manchester. Labour’s £2.65bn investment in flood defences includes funding for the River Mersey to help protect local homes. ???? http://jeffsmithmp.com/2025/02/17/labour-government-to-invest-2-65-billion-in-flood-defences/ (1/4) [Source]
  • 18 Nov 2025 Marie Rimmer MP (@MarieRimmer) Brilliant news. Projects like this don’t just help tackle climate change, they cut energy bills and free up funding for our children’s education. We’re also delivering solar panels to 260 NHS sites and 15 military sites across the country. Building for the future! https://twitter.com/sthelensstar/status/1990493460843970839 [Source]

  • 08 Nov 2025 Chris Elmore MP (@CPJElmore) The devastation caused by Hurricane Melissa is a stark reminder of the urgency of the climate crisis. The UK & our Overseas Territories partners are proud supporters of @ccrif_pr & investors in climate resilience across the Caribbean, including insurance for community recovery. [Source]
  • 08 Nov 2025 Graham Stuart MP (@grahamstuart) Wood waste used for biomass typically comes from faster growing trees. The commercial forest gets cropped each year just as other trees are planted each year. If the overall stock of carbon in that forest is maintained then emissions from burning one can be treated as zero because of the CO2 absorbed by the replacement trees. Though, of course, all the operational and transport emissions must be considered too. [Source]
  • 08 Nov 2025 Alex Burghart MP (@alexburghart) RT @KemiBadenoch: Families are paying for Labour’s failed Net Zero obsession. We need cheaper energy, not higher taxes. @ClaireCoutinho’s… [Source]
  • 08 Nov 2025 Ellie Chowns MP (@EllieChowns) In our rapidly changing world, it is crucial that we equip our children and young people with the knowledge and tools they need to tackle the urgent challenges of climate breakdown and misinformation - but we cannot wait until 2028 or 2029 to implement this new curriculum. https://x.com/EllieChowns/status/1987082665770819771/video/1 [Source]
