How VoteClimate Works In Different Types Of Seat

24 Aug 24

VoteClimate members sign up to switch to the strongest vote for climate in their constituency.

For example, based on the climate policies in the July 2024 party manifestos and election forecasts at that time, VoteClimate recommended members to vote as follows:

Seat Type VoteClimate Recommendation
Con-Lab marginal Green
Con-LD marginal Lib Dem
Lab-LD marginal Lib Dem
Con safe, Lab 2nd Green
Con safe, LD 2nd Lib Dem
Lab safe, Con 2nd Green
Lab safe, LD 2nd Lib Dem
LD safe, Lab 2nd Lib Dem
LD safe, Con 2nd Lib Dem

These recommendations are subject to the climate policies published in party manifestos and the predicted outcome of the next election.

Our recommendations in Scotland, Wales & Northern Ireland will depend on devolved-assembly climate manifestos.

We'll only know which seats are marginal and which are safe closer to each election. So please Join VoteClimate so we can let you know recommendations when that time comes. We need your help to force the main parties to take the climate emergency seriously.

For our current best estimate please see Predicted Closest Two-Way Marginal Seats
