The Parliamentary Under-Secretary of State for Transport (Andrew Jones)
Hydrogen fuel cell electric vehicles, alongside battery electric vehicles, have the potential to play an important role in decarbonising road transport. The Government began working with the industry in 2012 through the UK H 2 Mobility programme, developing a road map for hydrogen-based transport. It has a big role in the future.
