What Will It Take For Labour To Step Up On Climate?

We've crunched the numbers for the next election based on the new constituency boundaries and the latest opinion polls:
What Will It Take For Labour To Step Up On Climate?

Most interesting findings:

  • 3.6 million voters need to threaten to switch away from Labour
  • This is neither impossible nor unprecedented
  • Whether it's to Green or Lib Dem, the switch is similarly effective

Please share these vital findings: we, and all other climate activists, need to step up ourselves!

Election Rebellion

VoteClimate is helping all other groups working to get climate into party manifestos. For example, we've been petitioning XR to convince them that we desperately need them to get involved, with the incentive that, between us, we may be able to get XR's third demand, for a Citizens' Assembly on Climate and Ecological Justice, adopted as government policy.

The XR Election Rebellion group is proposing the following strategy:
Election Rebellion - Time To Vote Disruptively

If you're an XR member or supporter, please can you share this plan with your local groups and social media channels? and together contact XRUK Political Circle to let them know that you want them to act.

If you'd like to join the Election Rebellion group, please contact .

Calling Dale Vince

After an initial contact with Dale Vince, we're still waiting to hear from his team. Given his relationship with the Labour Party, he could be the perfect person to help VoteClimate and other climate groups lobby Labour to step up on Climate.

Please drop him a line on and/or tweet him at @DaleVince. Please ask him to support VoteClimate and influence the next election for the greater good.

Thank You & Bye For Now

Love and courage from the VoteClimate team
