I share with many of you concerns that the proposed Calderdale Energy Park risks having a negative impact on the climate. If the turbines and infrastructure end up degrading the carbon absorbing peat on Walshaw Moore. I raised this issue with the department of energy and net zero ministers in the house of commons today. While I support green electricity, this must be evidence based and I will not support projects that risk having a negative carbon impact. [Source]
