Dear brilliant [Name],
Here's the July 2023 latest news from VoteClimate.
Massive thanks if you've guided friends, family and colleagues to join us. Membership growth has been strong. Let's really push to keep it rising! We need each new member to recruit two more members in their first 30 days, please. For ideas see our Recruitment Resources page.
If you know people who say climate is their number-one concern, who are in the "28% of UK adults very worried about climate change" according to the ONS, who don't want to get arrested, then Joining VoteClimate is their best option to get genuine action by government.
We aim to force the mainstream parties to take climate seriously in their manifestos at the next general election. One way to do this is through current MPs. When MPs realise that they could lose their seat unless their party improves its climate policies, they will be fully motivated to get real commitments on climate included in their party manifesto.
VoteClimate has researched and published:
Check out your MP Daniel Zeichner's Record on Climate.
We don't think anyone else has done all this before. So please advertise it widely through email, social media and conversation. Please use it to recruit more members.
We're talking to Greenpeace, Extinction Rebellion and others about strategies for the next general election. Do you have any relevant contacts in the environmental NGOs?
Can you spare any funds? so we can recruit someone to promote VoteClimate. Please see our Donate page.
@voteclimateuk continues to expand on Twitter, reaching out to local and national, climate and conservation groups and influencers. If you know people like that, please ask them to follow and share @voteclimateuk.
Can you spare time to help with recruitment or research online or off-line? - please reply to this email.
