Labour Party conference: Delegate toolkit

If you’re a Labour member and you’re headed to conference, make sure politicians are hearing a pro-climate message. There are plenty of climate- and environment-focused events you can get into with your conference pass – many with politicians on the panel. At many of these events, you may be able to:

• Put a question to a Labour MP on the panel during the Q&A
• Speak to an MP afterwards

Tell politicians they must make climate a top priority. Labour’s current climate programme is not enough. If you can, get them to make a commitment to take action – to tell cabinet ministers like Ed Miliband that people expect more radical action to reduce emissions, and that this can win Labour votes.

Below, we’ve listed some official fringe meetings you may be interested in if you’re a passholder – your conference programme will list more.
